One feature you may find useful is a group of templates for design check of simple connections based on SCI P358 and BS EN 1993-1-8. It includes fin plate, end plate and column splice connection types.
The fin plate and end plate types support beam to beam, beam to column flange and beam to column web connections. The end plated connections can either be full depth or part depth and the column splice connections can be bearing or non-bearing.
The quick calculation option displays a results summary with individual component resistances and the critical connection component which is useful for redesign when a connection fails.
